BMW already gave proof of its ambitions regarding alternative engines with their i3 and i8 models.
The Maxi Scooter C evolution from BWM already sets the bar high for the two-wheelers. The scooter features 48 hp and 700 Nm torsional moment and accelerates from 0 – 50 km/h in 2.7 seconds. With a reach of 100 km it is furthermore suitable for daily use.
All the more thrilling is their new concept bike that was presented briefly before the EICMA: the BMW eRR. The Basis is the chassis of the Super Sport bike 1000 RR coupled with an electric engine.
Stephan Schaller, head of BWM Motorcycles: “We asked ourselves: What happens if we combine a sport bike with an electric engine? With the experimental vehicle eRR we upped the topic of Zero Emission and electric engines to an even more fascinating level.”
Unfortunately there are no technical specifications of the concept bike available yet.
