We think it is not overstated to say that Harley Davidson surprised everyone with their new bike and aim to step into the adventure market. Not only that this bike has actually very impressive specs, it is also quite affordable an adventure bike above 1000ccm.
When it comes to engine and displacement – its a typical Harley. The new Revolution Max Engine is a classic V-twin with 1250 ccm and resulting 152 Bhp. Impressive. And also the fact that the fuel consumption should be around 5.5 liters for 100 kilometers.
The wheels are powered by a 6-gear manual gear box and transmitted to the axes via classic chain drive. Automatic gearbox or quick-shifter is currently not available.
With a weight of 245 – 258 kilograms, this is definitely not one of the lightest adventure bikes out there but okay – it’s a Harley. To make moving easier, Harley equipped the Pan America with what they call “Adaptive Ride Height System” which can lower the seat height of the bike due to the riding situation. It can lower height from 25 – 50 mm preserving full suspension capabilities while normal riding.
The standard model of the HD Pan America will start at $ 17,319 and the Pan America 1250 Special starts at $ 19,999.
