New RISER Update: Groups, Updated Roadbook, GPX Export

We’re shifting into the next gear and have some cool updates for you that you can now find in the app.

We have completely reworked the RISER groups and are launching with a brand new UI, new features, and a foundation on which we can develop even more functions for you in the future. You can now create posts exclusively within your group, allowing you to communicate directly with your group members. Additionally, group-specific statistics and a group leaderboard are available. Sharing your group is now easier than ever: Either use a QR code or send a link to your friends so they can join directly. Check out the new feature in the app now and create or find your group.

We have received a lot of feedback from our community and have implemented the following improvements for you:

Your roadbook has received a new design with this remake. In addition to a preview of your trips on the maps, you now also find specific statistics about your driving behavior in the previous month. Clearly, summaries of your monthly rides are displayed, including the number of your trips, comments, elevation gain, likes, distances, and time spent, compared to the last month.

We have expanded the GPX export function so that you can now export your routes as GPX files anywhere. This gives you all the options to share your routes on the go: either through a link that you send via SMS, WhatsApp, etc., as a QR code that you show for scanning or post, or as a GPX file that you can export and send.

We are continuously improving your routing experience. In addition to updates to our routing algorithm, we have also included a new setting for planning. From now on, you can exclude toll roads in your planning.

To allow you to select your preferred voice for navigation announcements, we have implemented voice type, speed, and pitch options on iOS.

And last but not least, we have also redesigned your Trip Detail View.

With this major update, we also introduce the next Cardo Challenge. This time, it’s all about spending time on your bike. Within 14 days (from July 17, 2024, to July 31, 2024), you need to track a total of 24 hours on your motorcycle with RISER. Of course, not all at once! This time, the prizes include a full Cardo bundle: Packtalk Edge, a 2nd Helmet Kit, and the new 45mm JBL speakers, and additionally, we are giving away a few RISER annual subscriptions. So, accept the challenge and start tracking hours on your bike!
