There’s an ongoing discussion that Hells Angels and the traditional motorcyclist, like an Easy Rider-type of guy, are regarded as in some way behind the times. Not just because subsequent generations identify with other values, wishing for different life models, but also because the aesthetic demands and the motorcycle lifestyle has changed.
On the second weekend in September, the Moto Classics association intends to prove with the Moto Circus Festival that there are various different approaches to motorcycling nowadays. The mini festival brings New Heritage lifestyle relating to custom and classic bikes to Vienna and considers itself as a driving force for an entire movement, as a meeting place for smooth old-school designs, retro brands and classic, modified motorcycles.
On the 9th and 10th September, the former factory building F23 with its old-style industrial charm will transform into an arena for everything in connection with motorbikes.
New motorcycle manufacturers which emphasize on retro design, but simultaneously score with the use of latest technology will be present at the Moto Circus as well. Taking a deliberately different approach apart from old motorcycle stereotypes will be the theme of the event this year. In simple terms, this leads to an extension of the event programme: people who enjoy photo exhibitions, film screenings, live bands, barber shops, craft beer and food trucks will also get their money’s worth at the Moto Circus.

For those interested in customizations, the Moto Circus is the right place, for sure: leading names like Titan, Vagabund, Excesor, Blechmann, WS-Motorradtechnik, Kraftrad Kasberger, Traumwerk, Gierlinger, Gas and Oil Bespoken will be present, as well as several unique pieces by private owners, eagerly waiting in dusty garages to finally come to light.
