We met Johannes incidentally: Someone told us, that there was a guy who wanted to drive around the globe with nothing but his motorcycle. Every motorcycle enthusiast’s dream you’d say. But many of them never do it, who knows why – might be because of money issues or because they simply don’t wanna get out of their comfort zone.
Mostly, you need a lot of courage to really do it! Johannes has both the power and the bravery and really went on his personal adventure. He left Vienna with the target to surround the globe on his beloved motorcycle. Back then, we built a Website for him which shows his current location and how many miles he’s already been travelling – since he was using our App RISER to track his adventure it was quite easy for us to build something like that and thus show his family, friends and all others who – like ourselves – are impressed by the project, how far Johannes had come.
Now, Johannes is back, and he has encountered incredible situations and has a lot of stories to tell – from motorcycle trip suggestions in other countries to wonderful experiences and breathtaking sceneries and pictures. Therefore we will make space here on RISERBLOG for a series of episodes about the motorcycle world trip – stay tuned, each month Johannes is gonna tell you one of his very personal motorcycle adventure stories, one of the many which are part of the biggest adventure of all, the adventure of life:

I started my journey with almost no experience about the big unknown that I was about to encounter, and I instantly got dragged into a period full of unbelievable situations, stunning impressions and people, who became good friends along the road. Pictures say more than a thousand words, but the development I have been making due to this incredible adventure has also increased my wish for more. It’s a story that you could find in a novel as well – with rebounds, challenges, an incredible love story and a refined self. Travelling through the countries of Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia, the motorcycle has driven me to the remotest places but also brought in touch with the cultures of the various countries – and it turned my life completely upside down. I’m on a new road now!
