The Transfagarasan road is located in Romania and connects the Arges valley with the Olt valley and passes the Fagaras mountains. The Transfagarasan ist part of the 151 kilometer long national street DN 7C and became famous because of the British television show „Top Gear“.

The maximum ascent on both sides of this pass street is between 8 and 9 percent and leads up to 2042 meters above sea level. Attention: This road is closed from November to June.
