According to Yamaha, the MT-10 is probably the most extraordinary naked bike that the company has developed in their 60-year history. Sure, they kind of have to say that. Others do it as well. But to be quite frank – we seldomly saw a bike that bursted with strength as the MT-10 does. The Basis is the super sport bike R1.
The design – stunning. You can hardly decide where to look first in all this “nakedness”. And honestly: less is often more. At least that’s our opinion.
When it comes to choosing the engine, the Yamaha was less reluctant. 998 cubic centimeter from the bolide R1 with estimated 170 hps and around 200 kilograms. The 3-level traction control, as you know it from the MT-09, makes sure for the perfect grip in every situation. The chassis was inherited from the R1 as well.
We are curious when the MT-10 will be available at local dealers. The price for the naked bolide will be around 10.000 GBP (14.500 Euro).
