If you still have some time after work, it is worthwhile to overcome your inner hog and simply start the engine from time to time. After all, there are not endless summer days…
Following this motto I was on a small route around Linz in Upper Austria on my Vespa after work the other day:
From Hörsching to the Eferdingerbecken, from there via Haibach ob der Donau. There you have a wonderful view into the Danube valley to the Donauschlinge in Schlögen. I was in good company, so we then enjoyed a delicious, refreshing dinner on a salad basis on the way and then continued, strengthened by nice food, over the Niederranna towards the Mühlviertel.
On the way back we stopped at the idyllic swimming lake near Feldkirchen an der Donau for a refreshment before returning to Linz via Ottensheim. Upper Austria has really nice spots to discover!
Not much is needed for a relaxing short trip at the end of the day – the perfect way to end the day. Try it out for yourself:
